yes that I read, too.  You should move that to the top of the
list :-)

I wanted to boot recent NetBSD, as I wanted to use an emulator
on some fast x86 to build packages.

I know that I can speed up compilation using distcc, but that's
not the same as the mac has to be online and perform a lot of
boring tasks.  Besides that gem(4) is somehow broken on NetBSD 6
for me.  So I would have to use a USB1.1 connect LAN/WLAN Dongle
or the builtin 802.11b airport.  Both solutions seem to be a bit
slow for moving around a lot of files.
