I've got an X-less NetBSD/macppc install running around on an older iBook/G4 but I'm wondering if anybody has turned a Mac Mini into a decent X11- enabled
media machine for music and video before?

It should have some sort of radeon - no hardware 3D support ( because our DRM code doesn't work on non-x86 ) but video overlays should work and so should audio. IIRC the xf86-video-radeon driver knows how to set up TV output and such, no idea if that works on non-x86 or if it depends on BIOS calls.

have fun
