OldWorld floppy and serial port work

I'm currently working on adding SWIM3 (floppy) support using info from the 
MkLinux/Darwin OldWorld floppy driver.  No commitments on when it'll be 
available, but what's the best way to submit it?

Also, I'd be interested in banging on the serial driver to make it behave 
better; the damn thing breaks down as soon as I open a man page with the serial 
console.  Are there any pointers as to what's wrong, or is the z8530 driver 
just broken in general? I'd be surprised, since it's used on so many other 
platforms.  I have a fair amount of serial driver experience for various 
embedded OSes and bare-metal BSP work.
