One other thing you could try would be to run an xterm with DISPLAY
pointing at a desktop machine. This coredumps for me on -current
but works on 6.1.5.

It is fine on 7.0 using the latest XQuartz on an El Capitan machine.

I don't think that mac68k has picked up all the vmparam changes that
some of the other m68k ports have made.

I'll add that to the list.

In the meanwhile, if anyone has time to look at fsck before I do:

/rescue/fsck has no problems.
