Well, "an MMU fault panic during boot" is ambiguous too.
(I can't test it on LC630 until I get 68040..)

You could try the softfloat sets:

If the panic is around _prop_dictionary_keysym32_pool() as posted
on April, there might be some issue around symbol table or
the Booter program.

I didn't see that before, but now that I see it, yes, it is.
