Sorry, I don't understand this. I thought you meant I should add this
file, but I already had this file.

Hm, nope, not on my hardware. As I said, new RPi4B 8GB. I'll attach
the dmesg.  How does it compare to yours?

That seems to have worked. The UEFI option warns about broken xhci if
the operating system does not support this, but the SSD drive still
attaches and seems to basically work.
