There is an issue with netbsd-7 and edma that I just checked in a fix for. 
If you run resize_ffs or ever have to fsck you will probably run into the 
problem.

There's an extra issue on HEAD that I've narrowed down to a single commit 
in sdhc.c. Reverting back to r1.83 restores functionality.
