adapteva : parallella : port : not straight forward?

hi, just realized that the parallella "epiphany" accelerator (co-processor)
design might make the process of tapping into the entire feature set a
very difficult process.
good that adapteva has released a whole lot of their support code in
the open at; https://github.com/adapteva
while i lack the skills to do it, my venture which plans to use netbsd
with that hardware is still around 36 months away from getting funded to
support the porting effort commercially with the intent of giving it all
back to the community.
if anyone here be inclined to tinker around and gain enough confidence
with that porting pre-requisite, would be considered for the work if s/he
be interested at that time.
