Nice :) I wonder if it would be worth adding the necessary bits to
have sysinst on the miniroot?

sysinst provides a text UI for selecting install options and
installing - If you have an additional disk you should be able to run
"sysinst" on a NetBSD system and run through a full install to see how
it works.

Adding the binary, and an option to select it on miniroot boot should
be ~trivial, but there may be some extra glue to handle any amiga
specific disk handling.
