I just tried to reproduce that with a 5.99.23 kernel from the 6th of this
month. The userland was compiled for 68060, as yours.

My system has only 128 MB, but the compiler will not even use 50 MB before
it finishes successfully. I also compiled libxml2 for 68060, like you did.

Maybe I need a more recent pkgsrc? Mine is from last September.
