My hardware is:
Commodore Amiga 1200 rev 1D
Blizzard 1260, 68060 @ 50 MHz
SCSI Kit IV (no drives or cables currently attached), 64 MB RAM (1 SIMM)
storage: alternating between a 2 GB CompactFlash card and a 1 GB 3.5 Maxtor IDE
drive
PSU is a 50 W switchmode supply, good for 5 A @ 5 V

I've been trying out a few recent kernels, and GENERIC 4.0 and 4.0.1 do not
appear to exhibit the problem, but GENERIC 5.0 and 5.0.1 do, as does Frank's
amiga_timecounter_fix 5.0.1 test kernel. The keyboard weirdness under 5.x
occurs regardless of whether booting off the CompactFlash or the IDE HDD. I'm
quite prepared to accept it's just my hardware, but it works fine under
AmigaDOS and seemingly all NetBSD but 5.x... :)

BTW, I couldn't easily compare interrupt rate figures across all these kernel
versions as the systat binary only seems to work with the kernel it was
compiled for.

That sounds great - I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes custom rack gear.
:) I nearly bought an A2000 motherboard recently and would probably have put
it in a rack enclosure.

I was wondering what the story was with wscons on Amiga - I'll try that out
tomorrow. I'll also try moving the 1260 to the other A1200 and see if that
machine shows the same problem.

Thanks!
Chris
