Install Problems on A4000T

Hi everyone.

I recently bought GateWay2 CD on a flea-market and had a lot of installing
problems, so I chose to download the 1.5 from netbsd.org

But I still do receive some problems. I made a root of 30 MB, a swap of 100
MB, a usr of 280 MB, a var of 20 MB and a usr/local of 300 MB. Partitions
were made using hdtoolbox and the install-guide.

Basic installation went so well (after all) but when the script starts
unpacking the sets from an ados partition (FFS/3 intl) I repeatedly encounter
errors like the ones below. Errors are reproducable, but not at the same 
place!!!
Means I get an error like this on each fresh install, but when or where it
may occur does vary.

Is there something wrong with my disk? Or the controller? Are the partitions
too small?

I try to install the whole set of binaries that are found in the
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.5/amiga/binary/sets/....


Please Help! And, btw, does a utility like Midnight Commander also exist for
netbsd?

a) when extracting the binary sets from an amigados partition on sd0 i
receive errors like

but sooner or later I will be presented by an error again, for example:

A4000T, 060/50 Rev1 FPU/MMU, 102 MB Fastram, 2 MB chip, CV64 4MB, Toccata
Audio, VLab-Motion, Ariadne-Ethernet,Cyberstorm 060 MK-II Flash ROM,
1 GB Fujitsu M1606-S S CSI drive (which came with the Amiga), a
4GB IBM DCAS-34330 SCSI-HD, a Toshiba XM-5301TA SCSI CDRROM, a 1 GB JAZ
drive, all connected via internal Amiga SCSI;
