I have the same sort of problem, with my Samsung SyncMaster 15GLi
Multiscan monitor. It can't display "factory-set" DBLPal, so I have to use
a patched driver using MonEd.

Using the settings from MonEd, I rebuilt a kernal, only to find that it
didn't synchronise, either.

I believe this is due to the fact that loadbsd takes over the whole
Amiga Operating System and kills the "VGAOnly" driver, which is what
we both need to run our monitors.

At present I'm running as best I can on DBLPal 640x512, with a huge
great black band of about 40 pixels on the right hand side that I can't
see. The monitor screen is offset as well.

Steve.
