Hi there, just want to say that I have hacked up audio-1.1.tar.gz
to work properly with NetBSD1.2 (and up ???)

I had send a mail earlier about this, but it did only send to the
Reply-To: field and thus not to port-amiga... *sigh*

It is available by http at http://www.ptf.hro.nl/~staveren/ftp-dir/

A small excerpt from the readme file

Changes since release 1.1 (all by RvS)

- More verbosity on points 1 2 and 4
- Addition of point 1a
- reworked the MAKEDEV script to audio.install, suitable as a postinstall
  script for modload

- cleaned up the sources dev_audio.c and lkm_audio.c 
  the struct cdevsw had one entry to much (reset does not exists)
  added proper include files <sys/systm.h> and proper casting to compile with
  -Werror
- use of <bsd.prog.mk> in Makefile
- replaced "bsd_audioiio.h" with <sys/audioio.h>
  only the AUDIO_ENCODING_SIGNED is different: it's AUDIO_ENCODING_PCM8 there

THIS PRODUCT COMES WITH ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY AND IS PROVIDED "AS IS"

I've build the kernel from scratch, tested the patches, builded the module
rebooted a couple of times, tested a lot of samples (mostly .au and .iff)
between 8kHz and 22kHz. Even then it may crash. the problem could lie in the 
lkm_audio.c or dev_audio.c files and certainly not in the kern.patch file.
if it crashes with you, build an audio.o from audio-1.1.tar.gz
