This reminds me, on the weekend i have tried running xconsole, and it did *not*
work, even after setting it suid root. (This was the bin11-distrib run on
NetBSD/amiga V1.1). I've tried giving it /dev/ttye0 to monitor instead, and
this didn't work, too.

Any clue?
