The second line matches the first line, so it looks to me as though the
drive is attaching with maximum capability. Were you expecting a
different "supports" line?
The "supports" line is exactly as I expect it to be.

It the "(using DMA)" at the end of the "using" line that leaves me
wondering...
a bit before it says using... DMA mode 2
so it couldn't be better...

Your statements, together with Manuel's explanation, make it clear how I should interpret the boot-messages.
