ahcisata usage mode (on NetBSD 6.1.1 (GENERIC) amd64)



Hi all,

From dmesg it seems to me, that my sata-drives are not used at their most attainable speed. Am I correct in my understanding from dmesg? Is there any way I can be sure of this, rather than "the system feels sluggish"?

The motherboard is able to do ultra/133, the drives are, the cabling is ok.

Ubuntu 13.04 (amd64) says:

This is as I expect it: the first drive is slower, but the next 4 are all WD10EAVS drives, capable of UDMA/133.

But NetBSD 6.1.1 (amd64) has a different story to tell:
