I am experiencing something which sounds a lot like this: If I run
make (or gmake) with -j n where n>2, within ~10 minutes or less, the
system will hang as you've described. Just wondering: are you using
SCHED_M2? I'm trying to narrow down what might be involved, since--as
you've pointed out--I cannot load ddb. If someone has any insight
into what's going on, I'd be happy to provide more information, run
test code/patches, etc.
