Hello Nigel,

The IRQ bug only fixed in -current, so you should try

Hi, I'm new to this group but have been on NetBSD-VAX for quite som etime.

I have an Alpha with VMS on it, bit am trying to get NetBSD running so as to be able to use a SCSI disk that somebody gave me.

The disk is 77GB and won't format under VMS.  It tries to then gets all sorts of errors due to misreading the geometry, I guess.

I downloaded and dd'ed an ISO and it starts to boot in the CD of the Alpha, but hangs after accessing the floppy:

Has anybody seen this problem before that maybe knows a solution? Or how to disable testing the isa floppy drive at all?

btw the console shows it as under-sized!  It is DKA200:
