Checking for SSE/MMX support

Hi:
I'm trying to create the dangerdeep package, wich uses
the SCons build system. In the configuration file
SConstruct (which is the SCons config file) there's a
section to tell if SSE or MMX support is present in
the machine, to check that in FreeBSD there's a
variable named "hw.instruction_sse" wich can be
accessed using sysctl.=20
How can I tell if there's support for SSE/MMX in my
box using NetBSD?
Well, I know that my cpu has support for SSE/MMX
because dmesg told me, but I was hopping to find out
using sysctl.
I think the question really is:
how can I tell SCons if the cpu has or hasn't SSE/MMX
support?

thanks

Hugo
