audio/equalizer package for audio/rhythmbox ?

Just wondering if there might be some way to "pipe" an audio stream
from audio/rhythmbox to some-sort-of-equalizer ?  Maybe something
using pad(4) ?

Maybe there's a (optional) plugin for rhythmbox ?
