misc/window updates, how to submit them?

	hello.  I've been working on some updates to the misc/window package.  The original
sources are in the NetBSD src tree as they were incorporated into the base release of NetBSD-6.
My question is, now that window has been moved to a package, should I just create another patch
file for the pkgsrc build process to use, or should I update the base source file in the NetBSD
src tree?  If the answer is to update the file in the base src tree, how do I go about getting
the ftp distribution file updated once those changes are incorporated into the tree?
