Hello,

I have experienced frequent problems with chromium-140.0.7339.127 (it
also happened to older versions). I suddenly stops loading pages, I try
to open new tabs but it does not work. I am forced to restart chromium
to work properly.

Have you experienced the same? Chromium is the only browser that works
just fine in my amd64 Intel Nuc 8i7BEH PC. Mozilla Firefox acceleration
works not ok, Google Maps maps do not load properly, youtube videos
sometimes work only in black and white (in my Thinkpad youtube videos do
not work at all and must disable hardware accel in Firefox config to
load properly some pages...)

Chromium is my only properly (almost) working WEB browsing program in
NetBSD.

I built from source the following web browsers and dependencies, and
experienced one show stopper so far. Otherwise, it is working great on
11 beta ThinkPad E470.

  - chromium-140.0.7339.127
  - firefox128-128.14.0nb2
  - firefox140-140.4.0 (pkgsrc/wip)

While playing a music playlist in `picture in picture' view on
firefox128, the shuffle to advertising segment coincided with the X
Window system going haywire. Dragging a window would leave behind
streaks of window frame artifacts and the desktop view wouldn't refresh.
It was unusable.

On firefox140, PIP viewing music playlist hasn't broken down.

I use frequency scaling on the cpu in /etc/rc.conf

   estd=YES
   estd_flags="-s -d -l 40 -h 80 -m 400 -M 2701"

and believe that causes occasional glitches in the music videos I see.

Thanks Van for sharing your experience.
