suspicion on changes 06/28 - 07/07 (Re: wip/R has 4.3.1, please check

Let me look back the log,
my log says the issue for math/R4.2.0 and wip/R4.3.1 started between
  2023/06/28 and
  2023/07/07

These time and dates are at start of pbulk.

And when I prepared wip/R-4.3.1, there was no problem

   This was initially tested on 10.99.4
   (pkgsrc tree was really up-to-date is not for sure for this test)

Now 4.3.0 shows the same error on 10.99.4 for now (sorry)
