Meal database app suggestion

In pkgsrc under databases is the program "gourmet" which catalogs
recipes, compatible to a degree with a classic text file format
("mm"). That package depends on Python2, so I looked for newer
variants. I found [ https://github.com/kirienko/gourmet ] but it has
limits with non-ASCII character encoding it appears (from a cut/paste
test).
I found a variant written in C++ and is more actively maintained. It
has fewer save/load options than the gourmet tool. But as it saved a
sample Thai text field, it seems to have improved language encoding
features.
https://github.com/wedesoft/anymeal - GPL 3 license.
I tested the app on MS-Windows, and it installed on a PI/Linux system,
though building on NetBSD it stalled with a library issue (configure:
error: Check for recode-library failed).
If I can get past the build errors, I think this is a good pkgsrc addition.
