Really an upstream issue and I'll report it there.

But it seems it has broken some features such as invoking a command on
currently viewed URL / URL under the cursor.

Compatibility with elinks.conf seems broken as well.

Also the background color settings don't work as before i.e. a weird white
patch appears at the end of the visible text.
