Re: npm 8.8.0 build failure



Hi,
To add to the above, I am getting the same error on 'gmake' in the
cloned latest npm 8.11, whereas 'curl -qL
https://www.npmjs.com/install.sh | sh' installs an apparently
functioning version of npm 8.11; however, when I then try to install
yarn, I get the same error message:

 npm install --global yarn
npm WARN config global `--global`, `--local` are deprecated. Use
`--location=global` instead.
npm ERR! code EHOSTUNREACH
npm ERR! syscall connect
npm ERR! errno EHOSTUNREACH
