Not that it is of any help, but I just rebuilt it on a very -current
pkgsrc under
Linux instance-20211206-1614 5.11.0-1023-oracle #24~20.04.1-Ubuntu SMP
Fri Dec 3 15:04:45 UTC 2021 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux
and
NetBSD ymir 9.99.93 NetBSD 9.99.93 (GENERIC) #11: Sun Jan 16 15:37:16
GMT 2022 sysbuild@ymir:/home/sysbuild/amd64/obj/home/sysbuild/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC
amd64
without a problem.
BTW Oracle free tier OCI offering gets you 4 Ampere cores/24GB memory
for free, running some Linux (Oracle or Debian, haven't yet tried if
any pivoting to an unsupported system is possible), hence a ather
decent vm for pkgsrc testing.
