Sad. Was there a need for yet another build system when godzillions of
them already exist, that, too, with such a complex bootstrap dependency.

I think just building (whichever package uses bazel) using even an ad hoc
script (if not make) and ditching bazel dep will be perhaps better than
taking pains to port bazel.

I'll try if time permits, though I am currently using another Linux box to
meet my immediate needs.
