Ah - before

$ ls -l /dev/dri
total 0
crw-r-----  1 root  wheel  180, 0 Jan  2 10:50 card0

after sh MAKEDEV all

# ls -l /dev/dri
total 0
crw-rw----  1 root  wheel  180, 0 Jan  2 10:50 card0
crw-rw----  1 root  wheel  180, 1 Jan 17 21:15 card1
crw-rw----  1 root  wheel  180, 2 Jan 17 21:15 card2
crw-rw----  1 root  wheel  180, 3 Jan 17 21:15 card3

Now just warnings and the coredump
