Hi,
Do you really need to install libtool, or only libtool-base? In some
contexts, only libtool-base is required.
Separately, I've also recently tried to build g95 on Linux (in my case
Debian Stretch), and it was an ordeal to get to work. (I meant to send
a note about that, but haven't had time to work through it all again.)
There is the option of specifying PKGSRC_FORTRAN=gfortran instead in
your mk.conf. I haven't tried that.
