Certainly any package that depends on ghostscript could in theory get
such an option.  Some can surely do without, and probably some don't do
what they are supposed to do without, so it doesn't make sense
(e.g. gv).

People who maintain packages that depend on ghostscript (often
pkgsrc-users@ :) can add such options, and I see that process as
unrelated to changing the default.

As it stands without user approval neither will be installed.

This has nothing to do with bulk builds which override both vulnerable
and licensing checks.
