The issue was (kind of) solved by running ./configure with prefixes
in the OBJDIR (/usr/obj/pkgsrc), `make` there as well, and then
`make install` in /usr/pkgsrc/www/curl.

Git now works but complains:
fatal: Unable to find remote helper for 'https'

Do I need to install something else?
