Strictly speaking,

  print/tex-latex-bin

provides 'pdflatex'.  From what I can tell trying to work the list of
dependencies in reverse is that "texlive-collection-binextra" will install
"tex-latex-bin" as a dependency.

If you don't need the other things "texlive-collection-binextra" installs,
you can just install "tex-latex-bin" (and its direct dependencies) alone.

(2nd attempt to send.  ISP's DNS is flaky, causing them to refuse email
for relay.)
