I already have them from native apt:

$ dpkg-query -l|grep ttf
ii  fonts-freefont-ttf                    20120503-4
        all Freefont Serif, Sans and Mono Truetype fonts
ii  ttf-bitstream-vera                    1.10-8
        all The Bitstream Vera family of free TrueType fonts
ii  ttf-dejavu                            2.34-1
        all          transitional dummy package
ii  ttf-dejavu-core                       2.34-1
        all          transitional dummy package
ii  ttf-dejavu-extra                      2.34-1
        all          transitional dummy package
ii  ttf-ubuntu-font-family                0.80-0ubuntu6
        all Ubuntu Font Family, sans-serif typeface hinted
for clarity

Unless what you mean is to install them from pkgsrc?
