problems w/boost, libcmis, et al. using 2017Q3 on netbsd-8?

Following the latest pull-ups to netbsd-8 and pkgsrc-2017Q3, re-building
"net/libcmis" on amd64 and i386 fail during configure with:

[...]
checking for the toolset name used by Boost for c++... configure: WARNING: could not figure out which toolset name to use for c++
[...]
checking for boost/program_options.hpp... yes
checking for the Boost program_options library... no
configure: error: cannot find the flags to link with Boost program_options
*** Error code 1

Stop.
make[1]: stopped in /x/pkgsrc/net/libcmis
*** Error code 1

make: stopped in /x/pkgsrc/net/libcmis

I also observe what seem to be related failures with "misc/libreoffice"
and "graphics/inkscape" although they occur late in the build phase rather
than during the configure phase.

Also "graphics/cinepaint" fails to build now, but is likely unrelated
as it does not use "boost".

There don't appear to be any bulk-builds using -8_BETA and no recent
ones even with -current, so I can't compare my results.

For lack of any better idea, I think I will try explicitly rebuilding
all of the boost-related packages and see if that straightens things
out.

Anyone else seeing anything like this on netbsd-8?
