atkmm's Makefile acquired a

pre-configure:
        cd ${WRKSRC} && autoconf

in the days of 2.22.2 int 2011 to fix building on Mac OS X and with Clang.

My guess is that the configure script for 2.24 is being generated with
a newer version of autoconf than the one in the 2.22 tarballs.

Maybe someone(tm) running Mac OS X / compiling with Clang can confirm
that those two lines are no longer necessary?
