cwrappers stops apr building (NetBSD 7)
(slightly reformatted for clarity via email)
===> Building for apr-1.5.2
/bin/sh /usr/work/obj/pkgsrc/devel/apr/work.builder7/apr-1.5.2/libtool
--silent --mode=compile gcc -pthread -O2 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -DNETBSD
-I./include

-I./include/arch/unix

-I/usr/work/obj/pkgsrc/devel/apr/work.builder7/apr-1.5.2/include
-I/usr/work/obj/pkgsrc/devel/apr/work.builder7/apr-1.5.2/include/private
-I/usr/work/obj/pkgsrc/devel/apr/work.builder7/apr-1.5.2/include/private
-o encoding/apr_escape.lo -c encoding/apr_escape.c && touch encoding/apr_escape.lo
encoding/apr_escape.c:29:34: fatal error: apr_escape_test_char.h: No such file or directory
#include "apr_escape_test_char.h"
^
compilation terminated.
apr_escape_test_char.h is in
/usr/work/obj/pkgsrc/devel/apr/work.builder7/apr-1.5.2/include/private
It's not looking in any of the -I paths except the relative ones:
builder7# kdump | grep "cc.*NAMI.*apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "encoding/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "./include/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "./include/arch/unix/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "/usr/obj/pkgsrc/devel/apr/work.builder7/.buildlink/include/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "/usr/include/gcc-4.8/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "/usr/include/gcc-4.8/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "/usr/include/apr_escape_test_char.h"
28643 1 cc1 NAMI "/usr/include/apr_escape_test_char.h"
With USE_CWRAPPERS=no in /etc/mk.conf, compilation succeeds
