Hi folks, me again.

it turns out that it would most likely be my particular NetBSD installation's
fault. To fix it I was suggested to create a symlink and now it loads! :-)
I'll start updating !

As for a quick hack:

> cd /usr/X11R7/lib
> ln -s libxcb-xkb.so.0.1 libxcb-xkb.so.1
