I just noticed that, after deleting all installed packages, I still have the

Shouldn't the package system be deleting these "no longer used" dirs?

Yes, and it does for me (for misc/libreoffice).
Are there any files remaining?
Which libreoffice package in particular did you install?
Thomas

I didn't check for emptiness, I just did an 'rm -r' to clean up.

I'm currently installing from pkgsrc $HEAD, so 5.0.1.2. I had previously installed libreoffice4 and 5.0.0.5

I'm reinstalling all of my packages now from source, and the build won't be finished for about 12 hours (need to finish webkit24-gtk and gnucash first!), so I can check again tomorrow morning.
