I tried, without success, to fix this package for clang a couple of
weeks ago. It does rely on lots of undefined compiler behaviour.

Some things to test:

1) Does your iso boot in qemu?
2) Does the iso from memtest.org boot on your hardware?
3) Which GCC version do you build with? Try an older GCC (NetBSD 5/6)
