There is also pkg_comp, which I found pretty easy to set up. Just needs
a lot of space.

Start with "pkg_comp maketemplate", then adjust the configuration file
it generates. Next "pkg_comp makeroot" to set it up. After that, you can
build stuff witn "pkg_comp build", or as I do, use "pkg_comp chroot" and
use pkg_chk to rebuild packages.

You can keep the userland in the chroot at 6.0 as you update your live
system to 6.x. I'll update my chroot not before we get to 7.0.
