This has been going on for a long while (more than a year...). If I run monotone-viz (to visualise a monotone database) and choose a database, I get a requester ^W dialog that tells me mtn automate error: /usr/pkg/bin/mtn: operation canceled: Broken pipe or sometimes I simply get nothing (no error and the GUI simply hangs).
