I have no experience about PATCHFILES.
But for DISTNAME,

DISTNAME=       ANY_FILE_NAME.tar.gz
MASTER_SITES=   -http://example.com/foo/bar

will creates distfiles/ANY_FILE_NAME.tar.gz.

How about

PATCHFILES=             gnome-bug-224541.diff
PATCH_SITES=            
-http://bugzilla-attachments.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=224541

I do not know this mechanism is defined by which pkgsrc/mk file,
and it is not confirmed.
