The ABI change between 5.0 and 5.1 was unfortunate, but the primary
focus of binary packages should be users on the latest NetBSD version,
and an amd64 user would reasonably look in
http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/5.1/ and find
nothing. Not even a readme explaining why. Thats... a rather poor
experience.

NetBSD 5.1 was released in November 2010 - I think its time.
