Yes, the homepage and master site changed.  I can't find a master site 
for tarball now, but uses github

That is not a source download site. It links to "package in precompiled 
binary form".  That is just NetBSD's webpage about the package.

The "nb1" is the first pkgsrc-specific revision to the package -- the 
source code version didn't change.

It downloaded a saved copy from the NetBSD master site's server I 
assume. It does that for me too when the first download from original 
site failed. I don't know why the original download for you had the 
identical file size.

I emailed one of their developers to find correct URL.
