Digging a bit more, it seems the file gets symlinked into the right place 
(work/share/x11-links/include/X11/bitmaps/Stipple) due to its presence in 
pkgsrc/pkgtools/x11-links/files/xorg, but the symlink is then nuked 
somehow.

I'm still wading through the code to find out why... can anyone beat me to 
it? :)
