links and Java Script

Hello list,

does anyone know, why Java Script does not work in links on NetBSD?
The Makefile says "--enable-java-script", but it is not enabled in the
compiled program. I do not know enough about autoconf (or which part of
the build procedure is responsible for disabling the feature) to trace
this back, so maybe someone on this list has information about it.

OS is NetBSD 5.
