Suspicious errors during build of lang/perl

I just started to build pkgsrc-2007Q4 for NetBSD/4.0 i386 (in a clean
pkg_comp chroot).

I noticed the following while building lang/perl:

        Making Errno (nonxs)
Writing Makefile for Errno
../../miniperl "-I../../lib" "-I../../lib" Errno_pm.PL Errno.pm
/usr/include/sys/cdefs_elf.h:67:20: error: missing binary operator before token
"("
cp Errno.pm ../../lib/Errno.pm
*** Error code 1 (ignored)

...later...

        Making Errno (nonxs)
*** Error code 1 (ignored)

The line in /usr/include/sys/cdefs_elf.h reads

#if __GNUC_PREREQ__(4, 0)

Should I be worried?
/usr/pkg/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-netbsd-thread-multi/Errno.pm exists and
seems to make sense (at first glance).
