I am now running modular-xorg-server-1.3.99.0nb4.  It resolves all the issues 
that I had with modular-xorg-server-1.3.0.0nb1.  (I had to remove the 
Protocol and Device input device options in order to get the arrow keys etc 
to work.)  The only anomaly I see is that the cursor occasionally jumps to 
the left side of the screen.  I suppose I should try the recommended nb2 
revision but so far it is not a big problem.

I am using the wip keyboard driver and I had to rebuild the mouse and video 
drivers.  Thanks for the instructions re pixman.

I have (yet) not tried this driver.
